Motor home reservations require a pre-paid rental fee of $500.00. Trailer reservations require a prepaid rental fee of $200.00. Balance of rental fees, extras and a damage deposit are required when unit is picked up.

Damage deposit could be forfeited in whole or in part for loss of equipment, interior or exterior damage, interior and exterior cleaning, additional mileage, refueling of gasoline and propane, sales tax due and holding tank dumping.

Motor homes rented a minimum of seven days May 1 through September 15.

 

Our insurance requires renters to be 25 years of age or older.

 

All renters must hold a valid drivers license.

 

We accept money orders, cash, cashier checks, Visa and MasterCard, Discover, AMEX

 

PICK UP TIME is scheduled between 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m., earlier if unit is ready. NO EXCEPTIONS!

RETURN TIME no later than 11:00 a.m. NO EXCEPTIONS! Late returns are subject to a $200.00 late charge plus daily rental fee.

 

No Saturday, Sunday or Holiday pick ups.

Gasoline and propane tanks are filled when unit is picked up and must be returned full.

 

NO SMOKING OR PETS allowed in rental units.

 

Provide proof of insurance on rental units.

Generator use is free and unlimited (Motor Homes Only).

Mileage: On motorized units, we include 1,750 miles FOR YOUR TRIP.  Any mileage above and beyond 1,750 miles is subject to a charge of $0.32 per mile.  We will estimate your mileage by the destination(s) you provide us through Mapquest and provide you a copy of the estimate. All estimates of mileage are noted on the contract and are pre-paid prior to your departure.  You only pay for the miles that you use and we will credit back to you any unused miles along with your damage deposit when you return the vehicle to PleasureLand RV.

All rental fees are subject to Minnesota State Sales Tax PLUS local city tax.  We collect it for the state and DO NOT retain ANY portion of it – THERE ARE NO EXCEPTIONS TO THIS CONDITION! 

You will be charged a damage deposit at the time of departure.  You must return the vehicle in the exact condition as it left in order to receive your full damage deposit back – THERE ARE NO EXCEPTIONS TO THIS CONDITION! 

All renters and any additional drivers must be 25 years of age or older, with a valid drivers license. We must receive copies of driver’s license for ALL who will be driving – THERE ARE NO EXCEPTIONS TO THIS CONDITION! 

 

Tent trailer/fold down trailers must be equipped with 4 flat wiring and 2” ball. Tent trailers are equipped with ICEBOX (some have refrigerators) and MUST have electric hook ups for lights, furnace and water pump. These tent trailers DO NOT have batteries.  Please make sure your trailer light wiring is in working order BEFORE you arrive to pick up your rental!  We cannot guarantee we will have a technician available to assist with vehicle electrical issues.

 

Expandable trailers must be equipped with an electric brake control and a 2 5/16” ball.  We will suggest the option of renting an equalizer hitch if we feel you may be in need of one.  Please let our staff know as ASAP if you would like to rent one of our equalizer hitches as we have a limited supply available.  Equalizer hitches ARE NOT required by Minnesota state law compared to brake controls, which are.  Please make sure brake control and trailer light wiring is in working order BEFORE you arrive to pick up your rental!  We cannot guarantee we will have a technician available to assist with brake control or vehicle electrical issues

 

Travel Trailers must be equipped with an electric brake control and a 2 5/16” ball.  We will suggest the option of renting an equalizer hitch if we feel you may be in need of one.  Please let our staff know as ASAP if you would like to rent one of our equalizer hitches as we have a limited supply available.  Equalizer hitches ARE NOT required by Minnesota state law compared to brake controls, which are.  Please make sure brake control and trailer light wiring is in working order BEFORE you arrive to pick up your rental!  We cannot guarantee we will have a technician available to assist with brake control or vehicle electrical issues.

 

Destination Trailers must be equipped with an electric brake control and a 2 5/16” ball.  If you will be towing the destination trailer (not having it delivered by PleasureLand RV), we require that the tow vehicle be at least a 1 TON (preferably a dual rear wheel) and that the use of an Equalizer Hitch is required for any vehicle.  Please make sure brake control and trailer light wiring is in working order BEFORE you arrive to pick up your rental!  We cannot guarantee we will have a technician available to assist with brake control or vehicle electrical issues.

 

Please contact your insurance agent to let them know that you will be renting from us. We MUST have a binder or a copy of the declarations page/coverage page from the insurance company stating that the rental will have FULL COVERAGE before you leave. Arrangements can be made through us if your insurance company is not able to provide coverage.  In any case, the Rental Manager has to approve ALL outside sources of insurance.  This is to protect both YOU and PleasureLand RV.  It is highly recommended that if you DO NOT HAVE State Farm or American Family, that you buy your coverage through PleasureLand.  Our provider is number one in the United States & Canada for RV rental insurance.  Most insurance companies (besides State Farm & American Family) lack coverage, have high deductibles, and are more expensive.  The coverage that we offer is FULL COVERAGE, has a low deductible, IS NOT associated with your vehicle policy, and is extremely affordable.  Please contact out rental staff for more information.

NO SMOKING OR PETS are allowed in our rental units.  We do allow certain breeds of dog, however we will charge an EXTRA $500 damage deposit (fully refundable) to ensure the vehicle is free of pet hair.  Absolutely NO CATS and NO SMOKING allowed!  Please contact our rental staff for a list of approved breeds of dog.

 

NO PERSONAL CHECKS within 14 BUSINESS DAYS of departure. Cash, credit cards, or certified checks on day of pick up only!  The balance of your rental must be paid in full prior to your departure.  If payment cannot be made at time of departure YOUR RESERVATION WILL BE CANCELED! – THERE ARE NO EXCEPTIONS TO THIS CONDITION! 

Gasoline/Fuel and LP tanks are filled when unit is picked up and must be returned FULL – NO EXCEPTIONS!

Black/Gray holding tanks must be empty when unit is returned!  We will show you how to do this and we DO NOT charge a fee for you to dump them at our facilities – NO EXCEPTIONS!

The interior of the vehicle (including external compartments) must be clean upon return to PleasureLand RV.  You will be charged a fee if we have to clean the vehicle for you.  You will also be charged a cleaning fee if the exterior of the vehicle is excessively dirty. 

 

Departure & Return:  We will schedule your pick-up time approximately one week before your departure date.  Please be advised that this time we schedule for you is YOUR dedicated time for paperwork completion and orientation.  Please arrive on time to avoid delays!  We provide a thorough orientation on the operation systems of the vehicle you rent.  Along with the orientation, we also do a check out sheet that list the outbound mileage, fuel and LP tank readings, holding tank readings, and vehicle condition.  You will be given a signed copy of the check out sheet upon departure.  We will use the same check out sheet when you arrive back from your trip to note the inbound mileage, fuel and LP tank readings, holding tank readings, and vehicle condition.  You are responsible for all new damage that occurs to the vehicle while you are in possession of it, regardless of fault or not.  The check out sheet is used to track the overall condition of the vehicle, both out bound and inbound and will be used as the basis for determining the status of your damage deposit refund.  For more information, please contact the rental staff.  

 

Cancellations made prior to 30 days of rental are subject to a $50 cancellation fee. If cancellation is made within 30 days of rental, all pre-paid fees will be forfeited.
